A totally distinctive technique that characterizes and constitutes the essence of Flamenco. Anybody who attempts mastering this technique will note that there many books that contain elements of this technique but they do not offer adequate material for practice – sufficient number of exercises.
The history of the book you are holding on your hands goes 20 years back when I made my first steps in the art of Flamenco on my own. The books that came into my hands made a simple reference and description of the various RASGUEADOS such as double, triple, quad stroke etc. But how will the fingers acquire strength, independence and speed? In other words how will we master RASGUEADOS?
This book comes to cover this big gap. It contains sufficient practice material so that the learner does not get tired by the monotonous repetition of one or few exercises. The book extends from the simple strokes of one finger (or finger combinations – im ia etc) to the complex strokes with all of the right hand fingers. Special attention has been also paid on the RASGUEADOS on pulgar practice.
Finally it would be great satisfaction for me if this book on RASGUEADOS practice contributes in the mastering of this art.
